The Riverside Skating Club is on Plymouth Road, between Levan and Newburgh roads in Livonia, Michigan. In existence for over fifty years, and one of the largest clubs in Michigan, it features private lessons and classes for Pre-school, Beginner, Competitive, Esquire, and Social Skaters. Freestyle, Figures, American Dance, and International Dance disciplines are taught by the world class coaching faculty. A highly successful club in competition, its members include, National, World, and Pan American Champions. At the 2002 World Championships, one-half of the medals earned by the USA Team were by skaters from Riverside. The professional coaching faculty features both full-time and part-time coaches and the club has regular meetings, fund raisers, and gatherings.
